Attuned Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 12, 2026

The Short Version

Attuned helps couples explore connection through personalized activities and compatibility insights. You must be 18+ to use it. We offer free features and paid subscriptions. Be respectful, don't misuse the app, and understand that we're here to facilitate fun—not replace professional relationship advice.

IMPORTANT: This agreement includes an arbitration provision and class action waiver in Section 12. Please read it carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Attuned, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Attuned.

By using Attuned, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account immediately.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Attuned. Each person requires their own account—accounts cannot be shared between partners.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Service Description

Attuned provides:

  • Compatibility Profiling: Surveys that generate intimacy profiles based on your responses
  • Personalized Activities: AI-powered truth-or-dare style experiences tailored to you and your partner(s)
  • Partner Connections: The ability to connect with partners and view compatibility insights

Content is generated through a combination of curated databases and AI personalization. Activities are suggestions only—you and your partner(s) decide what to do.

5. Free and Paid Services

Free Tier

Attuned offers limited free features, including access to your intimacy profile and a limited number of daily activities.

Subscriptions

Premium features require a paid subscription. Current pricing and features are displayed in the app prior to purchase.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's account settings (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) or through your payment provider's portal.

Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through:

  • Apple App Store (iOS)
  • Google Play Store (Android)
  • Stripe or other third-party payment processors (where available)

For App Store and Google Play purchases, those platforms' terms and refund policies apply. For payments processed through Stripe or other processors, our refund policy in Section 6 applies.

6. Refunds

App Store & Google Play Purchases: All purchases made through Apple or Google are subject to their respective refund policies. To request a refund, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google through Google Play.

Direct Purchases (Stripe/Other): For subscriptions purchased directly through our website or other payment processors:

  • You may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase
  • Refunds are not available if you have substantially used premium features, including: completing more than 5 premium activities, connecting with a partner and viewing compatibility results, or accessing premium content on more than 3 separate days
  • Refund requests after 7 days or for renewal charges are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Contact hello@getattuned.app for refund requests

Promotional credits, free trials that convert to paid subscriptions, and in-app purchases are generally non-refundable.

7. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Attuned if you are under 18
  • Share your account with others or use another person's account
  • Use Attuned to harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service
  • Circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use Attuned for any illegal purpose
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in Attuned is owned by Get Attuned, LLC or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your survey responses and profile data remain yours. By using Attuned, you grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE: Attuned is for entertainment and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical advice, or relationship counseling. If you have concerns about your relationship or mental health, please consult a qualified professional.

NO GUARANTEES: We do not guarantee any particular outcomes from using Attuned. Results depend on you and your partner(s).

AS-IS SERVICE: Attuned is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

CONTENT ACCURACY: While we strive to provide helpful, appropriate content, we cannot guarantee that all activities or suggestions will be suitable for every user or situation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Get Attuned, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Attuned
  • Our total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from actions you or your partner(s) take based on content in the app

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Attuned, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit through the service

12. Dispute Resolution

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Informal Resolution First

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@getattuned.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Arbitration Agreement

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Get Attuned, LLC agree to resolve any disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except as specified below.

Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in New York, New York, or at another mutually agreed location. For claims under $10,000, you may choose whether the arbitration proceeds in person, by phone, or based only on written submissions.

Class Action Waiver

You and Get Attuned, LLC agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement shall be void.

Exceptions

The following are not subject to arbitration:

  • Claims in small claims court (if your claim qualifies)
  • Claims for injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the service
  • Claims related to intellectual property infringement

Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to legal@getattuned.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration provisions.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use Attuned ends immediately
  • We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Any outstanding subscription charges remain due
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or any other reason at our discretion.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Get Attuned, LLC.

Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to do so later.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor or affiliate.
